This Surreal Smith Mountain Lake sunset has not been altered and thus is the original, unaltered image as it came straight out of the camera. The weathermen on 13 news out of Roanoke, VA had been talking about how the particulates in the air from a very smoky forest fire had been causing some really crazy sunsets in recent days. So I thought I would go and see what kind of pictures I could take of these surreal sunsets we had been getting here at Smith Mountain Lake, and this is one of those shots!
I uploaded this shot in it's original state in HD. The native file size of this image is a whopping 58.333" wide by 36.457" high! So you can easily use this image for queen bed covers and still look awesome!
